Air Berlin to join Oneworld

Air Berlin has accepted an invitation to join the oneworld global airline alliance.

Full details of the deal are due to be announced at a press conference in Berlin this morning.

The airline said it will develop co-operative agreements with group members American Airlines and Finnair.
